Jumping for Joy at “Bounce!”

Bounce_logo3

Mel_BounceIt is very rare to find a group activity that can truly satisfy a diverse set of individuals.  The choices become even more scarce when you are dealing with the snowy weather that has pummeled the New York area this winter season.  Nevertheless, the challenge was on to find something that my family and friends could all do together.  A place that could be enjoyed by every single one of us.  Well…we found it!  A recent visit to “Bounce!”, an indoor trampoline park located in Syosset, Long Island, made us all (literally) jump for joy.   To be clear, the age range of our group was vast.  It included two toddlers (10 months & 16 months old),  two 5-year olds and four adults (ages 33 – 40).    Surprisingly,  Bounce! had an array of activities that really satisfied us all!

With  endless opportunities for bouncing and jumping, the Long Island facility which opened in September 2013, has options for all ages and levels.   Most of our group members started out on the trampoline.  It was so much fun that by the time we got off, we were so surprised at what a great workout we just had.   Then, we hopped over to the Bounce! Jr. Zone.  This is the place in the complex where kids ages 6 & under can bounce on their own trampolines and jump into separate foam pits .  Our toddlers had a great time here.  It was safe and  fun. The competitive individuals in our group played trampoline dodge-ball and impressed us with their slam-dunk skills at the trampoline basketball hoop.  Regine_Bounce

Bounce! also offers fitness classes throughout the week, private party rooms for birthdays and corporate team building.  So, the next time you are looking for something to do; something that you can enjoy with your family and friends, take the “leap”  and head on over to Bounce!,  where you too can jump for joy!
