Broadway Inspired Movie Nights in Times Square

Fall in love with the movies that were inspired by classic Broadway musicals in the heart of Times Square, as part of Times Square NYC: Your Town Square on September 29th and October 6th, 2014 at 6:30 PM in Times SquareTimes Square NYC: Your Town Square consists of special programming on the Broadway Plazas for Times Square and New York audiences.  Invite a friend, grab a seat on Broadway between 43rd and 44th Streets and enjoy the film Cabaret on September 29th, or find a seat on the red steps on October 6th, for a showing of Les Misérables.

Two food kiosks will be offering deals on September 29th. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. Seating is first come, first served. For more information, visit

Starring Liza Minnelli, Joel Grey, Michael York, Marisa Berenson, Helmut Griem and Fritz Wepper

Originally a 1966 Broadway musical, this groundbreaking Bob Fosse musical was in turn based on Christopher Isherwood’s Goodbye to Berlin, previously dramatized for stage and screen as I Am a Camera with Julie Harris as Sally Bowles. Cabaret won eight Oscars, including awards to Minnelli, Grey, and Fosse.
