Mount Sinai Queens “Goes Red for Women” with Free Cardiovascular Screenings

gored-mtsinaiIn celebration of American Heart month, Mount Sinai Queens will host a free workshop for women about cardiovascular health on Friday, February 6, between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Church of the Redeemer; 30-14 Crescent Street, Astoria, NY.


At the event, complimentary blood pressure testing, BMI screenings and heart health information will be provided. Speakers include Mount Sinai Queens cardiologist, William Schwartz, MD, Outpatient Dietitian Marie Keogh, MPH, RD, CDN and registered dietician and certified diabetes educator with the Diabetes Alliance, The Mount Sinai Hospital, Celia Chu Diep, RD, CDE.
