Noodles & Company Partners With the American Red Cross to Raise Awareness & Funds for Giving Day

P8095082Noodles & Company, serving classic noodle and pasta dishes from around the world, has announced a partnership with the American Red Cross to raise awareness and funds surrounding the organization’s annual Giving Day event, with a week-long fundraiser at its five locations on Long Island owned and operated by Doherty Enterprises.

Nearly every eight minutes, the American Red Cross meets a family that has lost everything to a home fire or other disaster. To remind the public that there is no day without disaster, thousands of people will unite on Thursday, April 21 by providing their financial support to help families get the services they need to start their recovery. To raise awareness and encourage support, Noodles & Company will donate $1.00 for every purchase of its Wisconsin Mac & Cheese from April 14 through April 21 (regular size only).

“Noodles & Company is proud to partner with the great people at the American Red Cross,” said said Ed Choe, president of Doherty Enterprises. “We understand how difficult it can be to rebuild and put the pieces back together following a disaster, which is why it was easy for us to get behind this cause. We encourage our guests to purchase a bowl of our delicious Wisconsin Mac & Cheese to raise awareness and funds for this outstanding organization serving the people of Long Island.”

Noodles & Company brings its globally inspired menu under one roof to create a “World Kitchen.” Always fresh and made-to order, its fully customizable dishes range from healthful to indulgent and spicy to comforting. Using some of the most celebrated flavor combinations in the world, there is something for everyone, from kids to adults. Favorites include the sweet and spicy Japanese Pan Noodles, savory Flatbreads, creamy Penne Rosa, zesty Pesto Cavatappi and rich Wisconsin Mac & Cheese. To complement each dish, Noodles & Company also serves wines from around the world and beers from down the block.

The Giving Day donation is valid at Noodles & Company locations owned and operated by Doherty Enterprises in Long Island at The Westbury Plaza in Garden City, Waverly Plaza in Patchogue, Airport Plaza in Farmingdale and the Broadway Mall in Hicksville.
