Sofitel New York’s Love Lottery, Feb. 1-14, to Benefit The Bowery Mission

Love might be a gamble, but from Feb. 1-14, Sofitel New York will make everyone who drops by a winner. The Midtown luxury hotel with a French accent is mounting Une Loterie d’Amour – a Love Lottery – wherein players will win prizes ranging from a complimentary cocktail to a two-night Sofitel stay in exchange for a donation to The Bowery Mission. The mission has served homeless, hungry and poor New Yorkers for nearly 140 years.

Based on the denomination of the donation – $10, $25, $50, $100, $250 or $500 – the player chooses a Valentine from a flower-strewn display in the hotel’s signature restaurant, Gaby Brasserie Française. Each envelope contains a prize, ranging from a cocktail at Gaby Bar, to dessert or dinner for two with a bottle of wine at Gaby, to a weekend at the hotel in a beautiful Terrace Suite, to a two-night stay at Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

“Our guests and our staff love this city that brings together so many diverse lives,” explained General Manager Rudy Tauscher. “As a way of giving back during this season that celebrates love, we have once again partnered with The Bowery Mission to help them continue to do their important work. Everyone wins, so please come try your fortune!”
