SANFORD RUBENSTEIN ATTORNEY FOR ABNER LOUIMA STATES: “August 9th is the 20th Anniversary of the police torture of Abner Louima at the NYPD 70th precinct in Brooklyn, New York. On July 23, 2017, I met with Abner Louima in Miami Beach Florida. He advised me at the time that he will not be doing interviews or issuing any statements regarding the 20th Anniversary. He authorized me to state the following: ‘Abner Louima has moved on with his life and is focusing on his business interests and his family.’”
