Harlem Globetrotter Makes Epic Shot from an Airplane

Harlem Globetrotters’ star Bull Bullard travelled above the Wildwoods in a two-person Super Cub on his way to a nearby airport where the hoop awaited on the runway. In the video, Bull reminisced about his two prior trick shots in Wildwood, including one from the SkyCoaster at Morey’s Piers in 2016 and from a helicopter last year. The monoplane was flown by a pilot from High Exposure, who flies many of the banner planes at the Jersey Shore.

“We’re all about amazing feats of basketball at the Harlem Globetrotters, both inside the arena and anywhere in the world,” said Bullard. “There’s no better way to arrive to Wildwood than with a trick shot from an airplane! I can’t wait to meet up with my teammates next week and put on a great show for the fans!”

The Globetrotters will play four games and host four clinics at the Wildwoods Convention Center from Wednesday, Aug. 15 through Saturday, Aug. 18 to conclude their summer schedule. The team is also preparing for their new U.S. tour, which will tip off on Nov. 1, 2018, and continue through April of 2019. The full schedule and tickets are available at
