Bobby Brown Honors His Daughter By Helping Other Women

Ever since his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, died tragically in July 2015, R&B singer Bobby Brown has been fighting to protect her image, set the record straight, and to make sure the person responsible for her death was held accountable. He also also been working to help other young women.

Brown founded the Bobbi Kristina Brown Serenity House non-profit organization to offer help and support to victims of domestic violence. Recently, he and his manager wife, Alicia Etheredge, received a proclamation from the City of South Fulton Mayor Bill Edwards and other local officials saluting their plans to establish a 24-hour intervention center in Atlanta for female and male victims and survivors of all ages.

“Our family lives with the pain everyday of losing my beautiful daughter, Bobbi Kristina, to domestic violence,” said Brown.  “She loved Atlanta and in her memory we are proud to announce the formation of the Bobby Kristina Serenity House. Our initial goal is to help educate women and men of all ages, by creating a 24-hour crisis intervention line and emergency transitional shelter.”

On the musical front, Bobby Brown was recently named one of “Top 60 Male Artists of All Time” by Billboard. That’s a great honor.
