Nassau County Legislator Kevan M. Abrahams (D – Freeport) had the privilege of visiting the Uniondale Early Childhood Center to celebrate the “Week of the Young Child” on Thursday, April 11.

During this observance, the UECC hosts a variety of learning events for students including guest readers. Legislator Abrahams spent time and read “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” to a group of excited students.

“It is always a pleasure and enjoyment whenever I have the opportunity to read to our County’s youngest minds,” said Legislator Abrahams. “I thank Dr. Mary Cameron, Executive Director and the entire staff at the Uniondale Early Childhood Center for always coordinating great events like this to help shape the minds of our young people.”
