Exclusive Event Celebrates the Release of the Unique Compilation Album, “The Foundation”

On Thursday, August 15th, 2019 Legends Recordings Group and Hennessy gathered at Gary Lichtenstein Editions Studio r (an Art Gallery at Mana Contemporary) in Jersey City for a fun evening of music, cocktails and incredible artwork!  The event featured, delicious, specialty cocktails, specifically crafted for the evening by Hennessy.  Showcasing the soulful artwork of the amazing artist, Tommy the Animator, collaborated with the Gary Lichtenstein Editions studio to create exclusive pieces for the party.  This unforgettable experience also coincided with the release of a unique, compilation album, The Foundation.

About the album:  The Foundation delivers new music from some of the best MCs to ever bless the mic!  Esham, J.O., 40XL, Kool Keith, Raw Breed, Sadat X, Smooth Da Hustla, Tash (from the Alkaholiks), Trigger Tha Gambler, Ultramagnetic MCs, Ice T and more!  This groundbreaking compilation album of hip-hop bangers was released on July 12th, 2019 distributed by The Orchard.  The Godfather of west coast hip-hop and a true OG, Ice T’s single,“Feds In My Rearview,” shows that he has retained his classic style while telling new tales of street life and gangster soliloquies.  The epic video for the song has already received millions of views!  There’s also new material from other notable MCs,  King T, Glasses Malone, LA Breed, and Young Ham.  The Foundation is released by the Legends Recordings Group and distributed by The Orchard. The album will introduce an entire generation of music lovers to these artists and remind fans why these MCs are everyone’s favorites.
