The Collaborative Experience, Inc., Open Call for African-American Men to Pen Their Stories in a New Book Anthology

“It’s time that we hear from our brothers who are doing positive things in the community and making a positive impact in the lives of others. This will be a welcomed new collection of history about black men,” says Toni Coleman Brown, Vice President of the Collaborative
Experience.

Contributors to this anthology represent black men from all walks of life. They vary in age, cultural backgrounds and reside in cities across the United States. The co-authors are penning experiences about life, fatherhood, friendships, relationships business and social issues as well as negative perceptions that they’ve had to face in order to survive in today’s society. Readers will be able to relate to the stories shared in the anthology and will understand that they’re not alone
in their life challenges.

“Toni and I are on a mission of empowerment. We guide others through a writing process, which helps them to grow, and heal while sharing a part of themselves in the book! We believe in the win-win strategy of the joint venture publishing model and work extremely hard to ensure that our co-authors receive maximum exposure,” states Julia D. Shaw, President of the Collaborative Experience.”

In the last five years the Collaborative Experience Founders, Julia D. Shaw and Toni Coleman Brown published four Amazon bestselling book anthologies. These books have included “Network to Increase Your Net Worth” and the three books in the “Delayed But Not Denied” series.

Co-Authors who participate in their book anthologies receive a wide range of exposure including radio interviews, speaking engagements, and are featured during the book launch parties and promotional events. The anthologies have also been the launching pad for many of the co-authors who have gone on to successfully publish their own single title books. Collectively the two have over 40 years of experience working in various aspects of the book publishing industry.
