Protesters rallied peacefully, marched and condemned police brutality as they gathered on the lawn of the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building in Mineola. In the past 30 days, Ahmaud Arbery was shot dead while jogging in Georgia, Breonna Taylor was shot dead in her Kentucky home and George Floyd was murdered by a Minneapolis police officer. Waves of demonstrations have been occurring all over the world as tense race relations in the United States boil over. Enough is enough and change must happen.
