Following the highly successful acclaim as a recipient of a 2019 Individual Artists Program Grant from the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events, Arnetta Randall, founder of Randall Productions LLC is at it again – this time with her new web series, “Da Office.”

Randall is not only the founder of the award noted production company but is also a writer, director, and producer. Being a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in creative writing, Arnetta Randall proves to be successful in her endeavors as her first short film, “Kismet” was accepted into Newfest: New York’s LGBT Fest and North Carolina’s Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and featured in multiple publications .

Randall Productions LLC is no stranger to the web series arena as Open TV, an intersectional platform for artists in Chicago producing and exhibiting indie series, has distributed two of Randall’s web series: “Hook Ups” and “Freaky Phyllis.” Arnetta Randall’s writings evince the excitement of the audience as they crave more and more positioning her to be a ‘great’ in her industry.

Randall’s track record of successful creative ventures only heightens the anticipation for her new web series, “Da Office.” The seven-episode web series takes place in a call center; using the format of the TV show; “The Office.” With this web series, the audience can expect the characters to constantly break the fourth wall. This is a social-media friendly show making each episode between 2-3 minutes long. The show follows Mercedes as she tries to move from the call center to a managerial position. Her pursuit is put in jeopardy by the antics of her best friend and co-worker, Tamika, which is played by comedian Just Nesh.

Although we are living in such precarious times, Randall Productions LLC proves to break barriers in the creative entertainment industry by constantly honing the craft they so expertly and courageously harness.
