Cuba’s first five-star luxury hotel centrally located in the heart of Old Havana, Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski La Habana isa UNESCO World Heritage Site. Features include 246 rooms and suites, six restaurants and bars, a world-class spa and wellness facility, as well as panoramic views of the historic city center.

Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski La Habana is a revival of the former Manzana de Gómez site, the first European-style shopping arcade in Cuba, rich with history dating back more than 100 years.

Despite the current tense situation in the world of hospitality and travel, the only open luxury hotel in La Habana, Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski, sets the scene for a romantic celebration.

With spectacular views over the city, San Cristobal restaurant, on the rooftop terrace of the luxurious hotel, offers a special dining experience.

“We are not only one of the few open hotels in the city, but also one of the few restaurants which remain open these days,” says Xavier Destribats, Chief Operating Officer The Americas Kempinski Hotels and General Manager of the hotel in La Habana. “Even though occupancy is a long way from what we hoped for, we would like to offer our esteemed guests a romantic moment with their beloved ones in an ideal setting on our beautiful terrace. As the place to be in the heart of La Habana, we are happy to see so many residents and locals during the last few weeks flocking into our facilities to enjoy a drink by the pool or an elegant dinner with views. The curfew is still part of the governmental rules, but visitors have adapted their dining and drinking habits to an earlier time than usual.”
