The Wyandanch Public Library recently unveiled the SLED (Suffolk Libraries Empowering Discovery) Mobile Library that will be offering services in the Library’s parking lot on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The program started March 9th and it is now offered from 10am-2pm on those days.

The Wyandanch Public Library is located at 14 South 20th Street in Wyandanch, NY.

On each visit, a library staff will be offering limited library services including library card sign-ups, printing, faxing, scanning, and limited books checkouts.

We look forward to your participation. We ask that all attendees adhere to social distancing guidelines and to also wear a face mask. The SLED Mobile Library, provided by the Suffolk Cooperative Library System, is an outfitted technology bus equipped with many features, including secure wireless access; Microsoft Surface Pro Tablets; a print station; a circulation desk to check out library materials; a green screen; photo printer; pop-up library e-books; and two awnings that make it conducive for use outdoors.

About the Wyandanch Public Library: The Wyandanch Public Library is temporarily closed to the public due to repairs needed to the Library’s heating and ventilation system. The Library is offering extensive online and remote events, services, and resources for the community.
