New Wrapping Paper Celebrates Diversity In Children’s Gifting

Greentop Gifts, the décor and apparel company that is best known for Christmas holiday products featuring the African-American character Clarence Claus, has officially launched a new birthday gift wrap collection that celebrates diversity amongst children.

In an era where representation matters, the new “his and hers” collection includes two festive and celebratory reems, featuring the “Celebration Crew,” a group of diverse and multicultural characters intended to represent and reflect boys and girls of all ethnicities who celebrate birthdays, and is now exclusively available on the Greentop Gifts website.

“I am excited to launch this collection as Greentop Gifts expands to other moments outside of Christmas,” said Jacquelyn Rodgers, founder and CEO of Greeentop Gifts. “Birthdays are a huge celebration in our household and we wanted to answer our clients’ requests for birthday products and larger rolls.  Our new collection aims to diversify birthday celebrations across the globe, and will help children of all colors and ethnicities see themselves in quality gift wrap when celebrating their birthdays.”

Greentop Gifts’ new 27”x12” wrapping reems retail for $8.99 each, and feature distinguishable characters relatable to all children.  Made and printed in the United States, the birthday gift wrap also features gridlines on the back to help customers wrap like a pro. i

Furthering their commitment to bring diversity to holiday and now year-round celebrations, Greentop Gifts’ new Birthday Collection resonates with the customers who understand that representation matters.

Based in Atlanta, GA, Greentop Gifts reported record-breaking sales this past year after being named the official gift-wrap of O Magazine’s “Favorite Things,” becoming a recipient of the Black-Owned Small Business Impact Fund from Beyonce’s BEYGOOD & NAACP, and launching holiday pajama sets in 2020.
