Los Angeles native, Dr. Shree Walker, invites readers to learn her journey of poverty, sexual abuse, and dysfunctional relationships.  Her story is inspiring and transcending across all races, religions, and socioeconomic statuses. Her first book, ‘Resilient Walker,’ was published in November 2018. Since then, her message has expanded from local borders to an international following.  Although these experiences have created scars, they have paved the way for her to connect with her audience to encourage them to be resilient while overcoming adversity. Broken crayons still color.

Dr. Walker has had the privilege of “inspiring listeners towards silencing the negative voices and embracing the positive ones” through keynote speaking and conducting workshops with a variety of organizations that include: TN Department of Education Non-Traditional Programs Conference, Music City Social Emotional Learning Conference, International Trauma Informed Educators Network Conference, Cleveland State University, Harpeth Hall School, Youth Villages, Nashville Sexual Assault Center, TN Prison for Women, Davidson County Juvenile Detention Center, The Music City Fire Arena Football’s Dance Team, Calvary Baptist Church Hawthorn, California, Brown Missionary Baptist Church Southhaven, MS and many more to come.

Dr. Shree Walker’s journey in Resilient Walker is available online through Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

As a little girl, Shree Walker hated school; however, that changed as she now has a Doctorate Degree of Curriculum and Instruction from Tennessee State University. She also serves as an adjunct professor at both Belmont and Fisk University, while managing various departments within Metro Nashville Public Schools.  The little girl who once lost her voice, now speaks to thousands of people, and provides a roadmap to self-discovery and healing.  Dr. Walker’s goal is to foster psychological safety, inspire healing, demonstrate healthy relationships and to motivate others to believe in the possibilities of a great future.
