National Black Business Month 2022 Small Business Awards Reception Held In Westbury, N.Y.

Long Island, New York – On August 25th, 2022 Black Legacy Partners, LLC hosted their inaugural National Black Business Month Awards Reception in commemoration of National Black Business Month at the Courtyard Marriott in Westbury, New York. 

Black Legacy Partners, LLC honored six extraordinary small business owners as part of their acknowlegement of the contributions that Black-Owned Business Owners are making on local and national level across America.

The honorees included a wide range of Black-Owned businesses who are making tremendous strides in their respective industries. 

The honorees for the evening were Dr. Teresa Taylor-Williams, Publisher of the New York Trend Newspaper, Marylin Banks-Winter, A & M Electrical Contractor, John Garland, Owner, FastSigns of Bethpage/Babylon, Sue Chen, Owner, TeamLogic IT, Andrew H. Baker, M.O.N.E.Y. Group, and Richalin Rodney, R. Rodney, Consulting Group.

The sponsors for the evening included TD Bank, Long Island Nets, and Fidelis Care.

Phil Andrews, President of the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. served as the Master of Ceremony for the evening. 

Citations were presented to the honorees by Dorothy Goosby, Deputy Supervisor, Town of Hempstead and the Office of Kevan Abrams, Minority Leader and Nassau County Legislator District 1.
