The golf scene in New York City has something to offer everyone, from beginners to veteran players. There’s also no shortage of courses to choose from, ranging from public courses to private clubs.

Brooklyn

Brooklyn is home to some great golf courses and has something for every skill level. Our first choice would be Dyker Beach Golf Course, an 18-hole championship layout with stunning views of the Verrazano Bridge and Lower Manhattan. 

Marine Park Golf Course is another great option and features an exciting 18-hole course that’s open to the public all year round. 

Queens

In Queens, we recommend Clearview Park Golf Course, a public course with an 18-hole championship layout and views over Jamaica Bay. 

Flushing Meadows Golf Center has a 27-hole complex with something to suit all skill levels. Forest Park Golf Course is another lovely choice, and it’s loaded with history too, being one of the oldest courses in the country! 

The Bronx

The Bronx has some great options for those looking for a great round of golf in New York City. Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout that offers beautiful views of Long Island Sound and the Manhattan skyline. 

Mosholu Golf Course offers a 9-hole par 3 course perfect for beginners or those looking for a quick round of golf. Finally, Van Cortlandt Golf Course is a must-play for any golfer visiting The Bronx. This historic course was built in 1895 and offers an 18-hole layout surrounded by lakes, hiking trails, and nearby historic exhibits. 

Staten Island

Silver Lake Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout with beautiful views of Silver Lake Park and the Lower Manhattan skyline. La Tourette Golf Course is another great option and features an 18-hole championship layout with tight fairways and plenty of water hazards. Finally, South Shore Golf Course offers a 9-hole par 3 course perfect for beginners or those looking for a quick round of golf.
