The Alliance for Coney Island spread holiday cheer to over 400 children from the local community with the help of local partners and sponsors. The 4th Annual Coney Island Holiday Toy Giveaway took place on December 17th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Coney Island YMCA located at 2980 West 29th Street Brooklyn, NY.

Those who attended the event, which is free and open to all children ages 1-12 years old, received a toy (while supplies lasted), hot chocolate, cookies, a hat with a pair of gloves, a meet-and-greet with Santa Clause, and a take-home photo. The Alliance gave away one toy per child. After the giveaway, the remaining toys will be donated to a local family shelter.
