A New York icon has found a new home in the Caribbean. Claudio’s Bahamas, the first international outpost of the beloved Greenport, Long Island institution, has officially opened at Atlantis Paradise Island, blending more than 150 years of East Coast tradition with the vibrant soul of the Bahamas.
Perched at The Coral overlooking the resort’s Water’s Edge Lagoon, Claudio’s Bahamas offers a fresh take on coastal dining. The menu features legendary favorites from the original location—like the famed Claudio’s Lobster Roll and Baked Clams—alongside new, island-inspired creations. Guests can dive into Fish Goujons & Fries made with Nassau grouper, Guava Goat Pepper Wings, Conch Chowder in a rye bread bowl, and decadent Lobster Mac n’ Cheese. A curated selection of Caribbean cocktails rounds out the experience, including the over-the-top Captain Claudio’s Bloody Mary, stacked with shrimp, bacon, and stone crab.
Beyond the food, Claudio’s Bahamas brings a dynamic atmosphere to Atlantis. A sophisticated nautical design, with rich wood finishes and suspended fiberglass sailboats, pays tribute to Bahamian maritime heritage. Each colorful boat—named after classic Caribbean cocktails like the Bahama Mama—adds whimsy to the dining room, which flows onto an expansive patio and gazebo bar overlooking the lagoon.
The space also offers multiple large-screen TVs for sports fans, two semi-private dining rooms for celebrations, and a weekend DJ scene that brings energy to the outdoor terrace lit with twinkle lights.
“As the only resort in the region to offer unmatched culinary experiences, Atlantis is proud to welcome Claudio’s to our family,” said Audrey Oswell, president and managing director of Atlantis Paradise Island. “This collaboration brings together two legendary brands dedicated to excellence.”
Claudio’s Managing Partner Celeste Fierro added, “We’re thrilled to introduce Claudio’s heritage to a new audience. Claudio’s Bahamas is where timeless charm meets island flair—perfect for families, couples, and groups alike.”
