Action/Adventure Announce New Album Ever After Out Oct. 24 via Pure Noise Records

Chicago’s own Action/Adventure are ready to take pop-punk to new heights with the announcement of their forthcoming album Ever After, out October 24th via Pure Noise Records. Known for their relentless energy, soaring hooks, and heartfelt storytelling, the band is calling this their most ambitious release yet. Fans can pre-order the record now.

To mark the occasion, Action/Adventure dropped the first single, “URL,” along with an official music video. Vocalist Blake Evaristo described the track as born from unrequited love: “Just because you put your blood, sweat, and tears into something doesn’t mean it’ll love you back. Even though you’re living the life you wanted, you find yourself wondering what the other life could’ve been.”

Guitarist Oren Trace added that the new album digs deep into the struggles of pursuing dreams while balancing real life. “The stark reality of living your dreams. The shifting goal post of a fulfilling life. The internal conflict of having people who support you but also depend on you.”

With Ever After, the band embraces the duality of art and everyday life. Jackson calls it their hardest project yet, admitting, “The industry is so different from what we thought it would be as kids. The theme of this record is the duality of everyday life versus band life, and trying to make them coexist without losing yourself in the process.”

Recorded at Ghost Hit Studio in Massachusetts with producer Alan Day (Four Year Strong, Knuckle Puck), Ever After spans 13 tracks of raw intensity and collaboration. Notable features include Dan Lambton (rationale., ex-Real Friends), Ben Jorgensen (Armor For Sleep), and UK breakout Noahfinnce.

To celebrate the release, Action/Adventure will hit the road on a headline U.S. tour this fall, with support from Diva Bleach and Not My Weekend. The tour kicks off October 23 in Denver and wraps November 21 in Urbana.
