Ben Katzner Drops Debut Comedy Special and Album ‘Supple Harlot’

Blonde Medicine and comedian Ben Katzner have announced the release of his debut comedy special and album, both titled Supple Harlot, September 12. The special can be streamed on Ben’s YouTube channel, while the accompanying album captures the same razor-sharp wit and storytelling that have become Katzner’s signature.

Katzner, known for his biting observational humor, dives into topics ranging from his adoption to reading romance novels in an attempt to better understand the world around him.

Born in Atlanta and now residing in Minneapolis with his wife Ali, Katzner has embraced his adopted hometown while maintaining his distinctive perspective as an adoptee.

Katzner’s comedy career has flourished through years of performing in clubs and theaters nationwide, opening for headliners like Kelsey Cook, Chad Daniels, Josh Johnson, Zainab Johnson, and Kyle Kinane. He’s also showcased his talents at top comedy festivals including Limestone Comedy Festival, 10,000 Laughs, Let’s Fest, the Harlem Comedy Festival, and the Raleigh Comedy Festival.

In addition to stand-up, Katzner is an emerging voice in the graphic novel space. His debut, Hello, My Name is Poop, was published in 2021, and his second, Muddy Waters Too, co-written with rapper Redman, is set to release in 2025. Outside of comedy and writing, Katzner co-hosts the Troll Hole Podcast with comedian Mike Lester, where the duo explores internet trolls, life in the public eye, and much more with humor and honesty.
