Beginning August 25, SkyMiles Members and Delta employees could vote in the Fly Delta app to select which European destination will be added to Delta’s network for summer 2026. The vote focused on three highly sought-after island destinations: Sardinia, Malta, and Ibiza. Each destination offers a unique appeal. Ibiza, famed for its nightlife and scenic beaches, attracts travelers seeking both energetic and relaxing experiences.
The voting period ran from August 25 through August 29, and the winning destination will be announced approximately 30 days after the polls close. Delta emphasized that this campaign was more than a marketing stunt—it’s a chance for SkyMiles Members and employees to play a meaningful role in the airline’s decision-making process, ensuring that the next addition to the network reflects what travelers truly want.
