Music icon Dionne Warwick has released a heartfelt new single, “Where Is Your Heart,” a duet with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter John Legend. The collaboration marks the first time the two celebrated artists have recorded together and serves as the latest preview of Warwick’s upcoming album, DWUETS, which she has described as the final studio album of her remarkable 65-year recording career.
The emotional ballad pairs Warwick’s unmistakable vocals with Legend’s soulful delivery, creating a timeless duet that bridges generations of music. Fans have also been treated to an accompanying music video, now available alongside the single.
Warwick said working with Legend was one of the highlights of making the project.
“Recording with John in itself was a pleasure,” Warwick said. “Having the opportunity to work with those who are professionals in the business is a joy; he immediately said ‘Yes!’ when I called asking if he would be part of this project. If I’m honest, I let out a real squeal. I’m still sporting the grin on my face from that day and our recording sessions.”
Scheduled for release in August 2026, DWUETS is composed entirely of songs written by acclaimed songwriter Diane Warren, a 17-time Academy Award nominee and Honorary Oscar recipient. The album also marks the first collaboration between Warwick and Warren, despite both enjoying decades-long careers at the top of the music industry. Its title pays tribute to both women by incorporating their shared initials.
The project was produced by Grammy-winning producer Damon Elliott, who praised the experience of bringing together legendary performers with one of music’s most enduring voices.
“The experience of watching all of these young legends working with a real living legend, Dionne Warwick, was a thrill to watch,” Elliott said. “Mom picked the lock for them and they paid respect to one of the greatest artists ever.”
DWUETS will be released through Elliott Entertainment in partnership with Vydia, a gamma company. With “Where Is Your Heart” now available, listeners are getting an early glimpse at what promises to be a fitting farewell from one of popular music’s most enduring and influential voices.
