Summer in New York City just got even more entertaining. Paramount+ Movie Nights at Bryant Park are returning for the 2026 season, bringing a lineup of beloved films to one of Manhattan’s most iconic green spaces for 10 consecutive Monday evenings.

The free outdoor movie series runs through Sept. 14, transforming Bryant Park into an open-air theater where thousands of New Yorkers and visitors gather to enjoy classic films beneath the city skyline.

This year’s season opens with the comedy favorite Wayne’s World on July 13. The lineup continues with a mix of critically acclaimed films and fan favorites, including Good Morning, Vietnam on July 20, The Truman Show on July 27, Bridget Jones’s Diary on Aug. 3, Catch Me If You Can on Aug. 10, City of God on Aug. 17, King Creole on Aug. 24, No Country for Old Men on Aug. 31, Galaxy Quest on Sept. 7, and concludes with the Academy Award-winning romantic comedy Shakespeare in Love on Sept. 14.

Moviegoers are encouraged to arrive early to claim a spot on the lawn, which opens for picnicking at 5 p.m. each Monday. Screenings begin at 8 p.m., allowing guests to settle in for an evening under the stars in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

Adding to the experience, Hester Street Fair returns to Bryant Park’s Fountain Terrace from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each week, offering a variety of food from some of New York City’s favorite vendors. Visitors can also purchase beer, wine and seasonal beverages at the park’s bar tent before the movies begin.

“Each year, we see how much people enjoy meeting up with friends and watching a film under the stars,” said Dan Biederman, president of Bryant Park Corporation. “We love that our movie series has become a ‘must-do’ part of the summer for so many.”

Paramount+ will once again host interactive activities throughout the season, including games, trivia contests, photo opportunities and giveaways on select movie nights. New supporting partners SOUR PATCH KIDS® and Time Out are also joining this year’s festivities.

Accessibility remains a priority for the series, with captions displayed during every screening so all guests can enjoy the films.

For more than four decades, Bryant Park has served as one of New York City’s premier public gathering places, attracting millions of visitors annually with free programming ranging from concerts and fitness classes to winter skating and summer movies.

With blockbuster films, picnic-friendly lawns and a festive atmosphere, Paramount+ Movie Nights at Bryant Park continues to be one of the city’s signature summer traditions, offering New Yorkers and visitors alike a memorable way to enjoy classic cinema in the open air.
