Austin travelers will soon have a new way to get to Paris. Delta Air Lines is launching the first-ever nonstop service between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, giving Central Texas travelers direct access to the French capital beginning March 27, 2027.

The daily summer-season service will operate aboard Delta’s Airbus A330-900neo, bringing a premium international travel experience to the new route. Delta says the service will make it easier for Austin customers to reach Paris while also opening connections to destinations throughout Europe, India and Africa through its partnership with Air France-KLM.

The announcement marks a significant expansion of international service from Austin, a city that has continued to attract new businesses, residents and travelers. For those heading to Paris, the new route eliminates the need for a connecting flight in the United States or another European city.

Paris remains one of the world’s most popular destinations, known for its historic architecture, museums, restaurants, cafés and neighborhoods. Travelers arriving nonstop from Austin will be able to spend less time getting there and more time exploring attractions ranging from the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre to the Seine and the city’s historic streets.

The new route will also offer travelers multiple cabin choices. Delta’s Airbus A330-900neo features Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main.

Delta One passengers will have access to fully lie-flat seats, privacy doors, premium bedding and chef-curated meals. Delta Premium Select offers wider seats and additional legroom, while Delta Comfort and Delta Main provide amenities including memory-foam cushions and personalized entertainment.

The aircraft also offers more cargo capacity, supporting both passenger and commercial transportation needs between Texas and Europe.

Beyond Paris, the new service provides Austin travelers with access to a broader international network. Through Delta’s joint venture with Air France-KLM and Virgin Atlantic, travelers can connect from Paris to destinations across Europe, India and Africa.

Delta and its partners will offer up to 10 weekly nonstop flights between Austin and Europe during the peak summer period, including service to Paris and Amsterdam.

For Austin residents planning a European vacation, the new Paris route could also make short city breaks more convenient. A nonstop overnight flight can allow travelers to arrive in Paris and begin exploring shortly after landing, rather than spending additional hours making connections.

With its combination of nonstop convenience, premium cabins and expanded international connections, Delta’s new Austin-Paris service is set to give Central Texas travelers another direct gateway to Europe just in time for the 2027 summer travel season.
