HBO Max has released the first official teaser and first-look images for the third season of the Emmy-winning Max Original drama series “The Pitt,” giving viewers an early glimpse at what’s ahead when the acclaimed medical drama returns in January 2027.
The series, created by R. Scott Gemmill and starring Noah Wyle, offers a realistic look at the challenges facing health care workers in America through the experiences of frontline medical professionals at a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.
The Pitt has earned critical acclaim for its intense portrayal of hospital life and the pressures facing doctors, nurses and other health care workers. The series’ second season received 26 Emmy Award nominations, further establishing the drama as one of television’s leading medical series.
Wyle returns as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, leading a cast that includes Patrick Ball as Dr. Langdon, Katherine LaNasa as Dana Evans, Fiona Dourif as Dr. McKay and Taylor Dearden as Dr. King.
The season 3 cast also includes Isa Briones as Dr. Santos, Gerran Howell as Dr. Whitaker, Shabana Azeez as Javadi, Ayesha Harris as Dr. Ellis, Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Al-Hashimi and Shawn Hatosy as Dr. Abbot.
