New York City’s winter season will officially begin at Bryant Park on Oct. 28, when Bank of America Winter Village returns for its 25th season with ice skating, holiday shopping, seasonal dining and festive activities for visitors of all ages.

Running through Feb. 28, 2027, the annual attraction transforms the Midtown Manhattan park into a popular destination for New Yorkers and tourists looking to celebrate the colder months. Opening day festivities begin at noon, bringing back the event’s signature combination of outdoor recreation, shopping and holiday entertainment.

At the center of Winter Village is The Rink, which offers free admission for ice skating, with skate rentals available for a fee. The rink welcomes skaters of all skill levels and operates daily throughout the winter season, including holidays. Skate aids are available for children, and lessons are offered for those looking to improve their skills. Bank of America cardholders can receive 10% off skate rentals when reserving with their card.

Visitors can also browse the Holiday Shops by Urbanspace, an open-air marketplace featuring more than 180 vendors selling artisan gifts, handmade crafts, specialty foods and other seasonal finds. The shops will operate daily from October 28 through January 3, giving shoppers an opportunity to find presents and discover unique products ahead of the holidays.

For those seeking a break from the cold, The Lodge offers a welcoming food hall and bar beside the rink. Guests can enjoy seasonal dishes, hot beverages and festive cocktails at two full-service bars while watching the skating activity.

Holiday traditions will continue with opportunities to meet Santa at Club Santa and Santa’s Corner. Club Santa is scheduled for November 28 and 29 and December 5 and 6. The experience combines premium skating with holiday treats, festive crafts, time with Santa and access to the heated Polar Lounge, along with skate rentals and concierge service.

Santa’s Corner will operate December 14–18 behind Le Carrousel. Visitors can take festive photos using complimentary props. There is no charge to visit Santa, and tickets are not required; photos will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

For a quarter-century, Winter Village has helped make Bryant Park a seasonal gathering place in the heart of Manhattan. Its return offers visitors a chance to enjoy outdoor activities, support market vendors and embrace the holiday spirit without leaving the city.

Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is located between 40th and 42nd streets along Sixth Avenue. Visitors can reserve skating sessions and find additional information, operating hours and programming updates at WinterVillage.org.
