Known as the “Father of Omniverse Music,” Donald Harrison is renowned for his innovative fusion of jazz, hip-hop, blues, and classical influences. The Quantum Leap Festival will showcase an impressive lineup of New Orleans’ finest musicians, offering an exclusive taste of the Crescent City’s rich and diverse soundscape, set against the picturesque backdrop of Long Island’s North Fork.
Harrison’s genre-blending approach, highlighted in his latest work, The Art of Passion, features a revolutionary mix of various musical styles, including a groundbreaking trap-hip hop instrumental. His Nouveau Swing style has influenced major artists such as The Notorious B.I.G., Jon Batiste, and Esperanza Spalding.
