Just one week after Sophie Rain’s high-profile exit, Bop House co-founder Camilla Araujo has announced she’s leaving the collective, signaling what she calls a “new era” in her career.
When asked by host Julia Fillipoo if she was happy about leaving Bop House and spreading her wings, Araujo didn’t hesitate. “Yeah, I am excited, I have a lot of things coming up, I am shooting for a lot of magazines,” she said.
The departure marks the end of a chapter for Araujo, who launched Bop House as part of a group of creators living under one roof, building content and visibility together. But as she explained in an interview over the weekend, the group dynamics sometimes came with strain. “Business partners. Okay. Yeah. Well, we were business partners,” she said of her relationship with Rain. “I mean, it is what it is. Like seven girls in a house, like there’s bound to be some drama, but no, not over here.”
Speaking exclusively about her decision, Araujo said: “We were business partners, but at some point, you have to recognize when a chapter has run its course. Bop House was a great experience for what it was, but I knew deep down I needed to focus on my own career and creative direction. It wasn’t about walking away from anyone personally — it was about walking toward something that felt more aligned with my goals.”
For Araujo, that next chapter includes modeling, brand collaborations, and expanding her podcast. She emphasized that her choices are guided by intuition: “I think it’s about what feels right. It’s about what makes you feel good… Sometimes you have to close one door so another one can fully open.”
She added: “Leaving Bop House was really about doing what feels right for me at this stage of my life. I’ve been putting more energy into my modeling, my business partnerships, and collaborations that challenge me creatively.”
