Film at Lincoln Center (FLC) has announced an expansive slate of repertory series, festival mainstays, and new theatrical runs set to light up screens through March 2026, reaffirming its role as a premier destination for global cinema.
The season opened in January with The Secret Agent Network, a special series curated by acclaimed Brazilian filmmaker Kleber Mendonça Filho. The program accompanies the theatrical release of his latest feature, The Secret Agent, and includes an eclectic mix of political thrillers, cult horror, and landmark works that shaped his artistic vision. Mendonça Filho will appear in person for select screenings.
Festival highlights from the 63rd New York Film Festival continue their theatrical runs, including Hlynur Pálmason’s tender domestic drama The Love That Remains, opening January 30, alongside his companion piece Joan of Arc. Oliver Laxe’s Cannes Jury Prize winner Sirāt opens February 6, while Hong Sangsoo’s intimate chamber drama What Does That Nature Say to You begins February 27. Additional NYFF selections rolling out this season include Gianfranco Rosi’s volcanic portrait Below the Clouds, Alexandre Koberidze’s experimental epic Dry Leaf, and Christian Petzold’s enigmatic Miroirs No. 3, the latter accompanied by a selection of Petzold’s earlier films.
FLC’s repertory programming shines a spotlight on cinematic legends. February 13–19 brings Looking for Ms. Keaton, a weeklong celebration of Diane Keaton’s transformative career and enduring cultural influence. Later in the month, a major retrospective honors pioneering French documentarian Raymond Depardon, presented in collaboration with TIFF Cinematheque.
Annual festivals also return in force. March 5–15 marks the 31st edition of Rendez-Vous with French Cinema, co-presented with UniFrance. Looking ahead, spring will feature New Directors/New Films (April 8–19), the New York African Film Festival (May 6–12), and Open Roads: New Italian Cinema (May 28–June 4).
