
Hilton and Explora Journeys have announced a new luxury travel collaboration that will allow Hilton Honors members to earn and redeem loyalty points on high-end ocean voyages beginning in summer 2026. The partnership also marks the launch of Hilton Honors Adventures, a new expansion of Hilton’s loyalty ecosystem focused on immersive and experiential travel opportunities.
Explora Journeys, the privately owned luxury ocean travel brand of the MSC Group, currently operates two ships with plans to expand to a fleet of six by 2028. Known for its modern approach to ultra-elegant cruising, the brand emphasizes spacious all-suite accommodations, curated culinary experiences, and longer port stays designed to foster deeper cultural connections.
Through the partnership, Hilton Honors members will be able to book voyages across a wide range of global destinations, including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, Alaska, Asia, and the Red Sea. The collaboration aims to combine the freedom and pace of ocean travel with Hilton’s established hospitality standards and loyalty benefits, offering travelers a new way to experience destinations while earning rewards.
To celebrate the announcement, a limited-time preview offer is available through June 7, 2026. Hilton Honors members who book select Explora Journeys sailings during this period can receive exclusive perks ahead of the full points integration next year. Benefits include 100,000 Hilton Honors bonus points per suite, onboard Journey Experience Credits that can be used toward dining, spa treatments, excursions, and other experiences, as well as a welcome gift delivered in-suite.
Hilton executives describe the initiative as a natural evolution of loyalty-driven travel. Hilton Honors Adventures will extend beyond ocean voyages to include land-based experiences, such as the company’s partnership with outdoor hospitality brand AutoCamp, giving members additional ways to redeem points across diverse travel styles.
Industry leaders note that demand for slower, more meaningful travel experiences continues to grow, particularly in the luxury sector. Ocean travel, with its combination of convenience and exploration, has become increasingly appealing to travelers seeking both relaxation and cultural immersion.
By combining Hilton’s global customer base — more than 235 million Hilton Honors members — with Explora Journeys’ premium cruise experiences, the partnership introduces a new category of loyalty travel: staying not just at hotels, but at sea.
