Miracles for Kids celebrated a record-breaking fundraising achievement at its sixth annual Miracles in Bloom Tea, raising more than $350,000 to support critically ill children and their families.
Held April 30 at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, California, the sold-out event welcomed 300 philanthropists, community leaders, supporters, and advocates for an afternoon dedicated to compassion, hope, and meaningful impact. Hosted by the Miracles for Kids 360° Miracle Giving Circle and presented by Diamond Wish Fine Jewelry, the event generated critical funding for programs that help families facing the financial and emotional challenges of caring for a child with a life-threatening illness.
Guests arrived dressed in elegant spring attire and fascinators for an oceanfront reception featuring live violin music, luxury auction experiences, and the debut of Diamonds & Miracles: Charms of Love, an exclusive jewelry collection created by Diamond Wish. Twenty percent of proceeds from the collection will benefit Miracles for Kids programs.
One of the event’s most impactful moments took place in the Garden of Miracles, where attendees sponsored more than 70 critically ill children through the organization’s upcoming Back-to-School Basket of Miracles initiative. The program provides food, school supplies, and essential household items to families throughout the year.
Inside the Pacific Promenade Ballroom, guests gathered for an elegant tea luncheon and program focused on resilience and community support. A moving address from family guest speaker Catherine Anselmo earned a standing ovation as she shared the story of her daughter Willow, who lives with CDKL5 deficiency disorder, a rare neurological condition. Anselmo spoke candidly about the challenges her family has faced and the support they have received through Miracles for Kids.
The emotional presentation led into the organization’s signature Raise the Rose fundraising moment, during which guests lifted roses in support of families facing medical crises. The roses were later presented to the Anselmo family as a symbol of community love and encouragement.
Wellness influencer Sarah Stage also addressed attendees, highlighting the importance of resilience, balance, and supporting families during difficult times. Among the notable guests in attendance were Amanda Stanton Fogel, Madison Fisher, and Gretchen Rossi.
The afternoon concluded with an opportunity drawing in which longtime supporter Sathya Chey Patterson won a stunning diamond necklace valued at nearly $20,000, generously donated by Diamond Wish.
According to Miracles for Kids Co-Founder and CEO Autumn Strier, the event’s success will directly benefit programs providing housing assistance, financial support, wellness services, food, and other essential resources.
