Delta Air Lines is set to resume daily nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport beginning Sept. 6, reconnecting two major international destinations with a direct route.
The first flight from New York-JFK is scheduled to depart Sept. 6 and arrive in Israel the following morning. The return flight from Tel Aviv will depart Sept. 7 and arrive in New York later that same day.
The restart comes after Delta conducted a review of the security environment in the region. The airline said the safety and security of its customers and employees remain its highest priority and that it will continue monitoring conditions in coordination with aviation authorities and government agencies.
The route will be operated using Delta’s Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, offering passengers several cabin options, including Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main.
For New York-area travelers, the return of the nonstop service provides a direct connection to Tel Aviv without requiring a connecting flight through another international airport. The route also restores a key link between the New York metropolitan area and Israel for business travelers, tourists, families and others traveling between the two destinations.

The A330-900neo used on the route is part of Delta’s long-haul international fleet and provides multiple seating and service options for travelers. The daily schedule is expected to give travelers greater flexibility when planning trips between New York and Tel Aviv. For passengers departing from the New York area, JFK’s extensive international network also provides connections to and from destinations throughout the United States.
