A major step in the evolution of Lexington’s commercial landscape began on June 23 with the official groundbreaking ceremony for Victory Village, the town’s newest shopping destination. Spearheaded by Dallas-based 4 13 Solutions, Inc., the project is being led by NFL Hall of Famer turned real estate entrepreneur Emmitt Smith, who serves as Co-Founder and Chairman of the firm.
The highly anticipated development will span more than 230,000 square feet and be anchored by Target, one of the country’s most recognizable retailers. Victory Village is poised to bring new energy and opportunity to the fast-growing Lexington community—already considered one of South Carolina’s most rapidly expanding areas.
“We appreciate all who attended the groundbreaking ceremony as we recognized an exciting new chapter in Lexington’s economic and community development,” said David Mosley, Co-Founder and CEO of 4 13 Solutions, Inc. “We believe the new development represents more than just commerce – it’s an investment in thoughtful growth, improved access to services, and community connection.”
Located within the expanding Columbia metropolitan area, which boasts a population of over 800,000 and continues to grow at a rate of roughly 2% annually, Victory Village is strategically positioned to meet increasing demand for retail and lifestyle spaces.
“Our site is strategically located in a prime area and anchored by major retailers like Target,” said Smith. “Victory Village will serve as the retail hub for the western Lexington market. As the greater Columbia region continues expanding westward, we view this as a long-term investment in a high-demand, high-growth corridor.”
Victory Village is designed to become a vibrant community hub—welcoming families, students, and professionals alike. With construction now underway, the development promises to deliver an engaging and accessible retail experience for residents and visitors of Lexington.
