Patrick Gloster, founder and editor-in-chief of The R Report Magazine, recently inked a new publishing deal with Inkspire Publishing Inc., a move that will expand his growing media brand across multiple online platforms and retail outlets.
Gloster’s publishing journey began in 2009, when he started blogging on a friend’s website. What began as a passion project evolved into a full-fledged publication covering music, entertainment, fashion, and most recently, high school athletics. Over the years, The R Report has become a platform for independent artists, giving them a place to showcase their mixtapes, videos, and interviews to a global audience. The magazine’s website, therreportmag.com, attracts more than 100,000 hits per month.
A major milestone came in 2020 when Gloster partnered with Accelerated360, securing nationwide distribution in Books-A-Million retailers. Now, with the Inkspire Publishing deal, The R Report is positioned to expand even further. The magazine will be available on major online platforms such as Amazon, Apple Books, Google Books, and Kobo. Additionally, Gloster’s publication is set to hit new retail chains, including Barnes & Noble, Target, and Walmart, according to a press release.
Reflecting on this new chapter, Gloster expressed gratitude and determination: “I’m thankful to the Man up above for continuing to open up more doors for me. I want to continue to keep putting out the best content that will keep consumers reading my magazine.”
