Singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress Meg Donnelly will make her Broadway debut as the sparkling diamond Satine in the Tony Award-winning Moulin Rouge! The Musical, producers announced today. Donnelly’s limited engagement runs from through March 1, 2026, at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
Donnelly, best known for her breakout roles in Disney’s Zombies film franchise and the ABC sitcom American Housewife, called the opportunity “a dream come true.” “I cannot believe I am saying the words, I am making my Broadway debut. WHAT. I have been dreaming of this moment since birth… I am coming home!” she said.
Hailing from New York, Donnelly’s roots in musical theater date back to her youth, where she honed her craft in the city’s vibrant arts scene. Alongside acting, she has made a mark as a musician, with her latest EP dying art offering a raw and introspective exploration of identity and growth. Her versatility as a performer positions her to bring depth and energy to the iconic role of Satine.
