Jamaica is bringing the energy of Carnival in Jamaica back to London as the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) returns to Notting Hill Carnival for a second year with Magical Mas.
The partnership will put Jamaica’s carnival culture on the streets of West London during the 60th anniversary of Notting Hill Carnival, one of Europe’s largest street festivals. An estimated two million people are expected to take part in the annual celebration over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
On Monday, August 31, 2026, the Jamaica Tourist Board and Magical Mas Carnival Band will take to the road with Magical Mas 2.0, featuring elaborate costumes, music and an expanded lineup of participants.
Among this year’s special guests are television presenter and DJ Tyler West and actress and presenter Molly Rainford, who will join the JTB and Magical Mas in costume. They follow Love Island personality Indiyah Polack, who participated in last year’s event and brought her Caribbean heritage to the celebration.
The JTB’s presence at Notting Hill Carnival is part of a broader effort to promote Jamaica as a destination for travelers interested in Caribbean culture, music and festivals. The event also provides an opportunity to connect with members of the Jamaican and wider Caribbean diaspora in the United Kingdom.
Jamaica’s own Carnival season has become an increasingly important part of the island’s tourism offering. From Kingston to Montego Bay, Carnival in Jamaica combines soca music, parties, elaborate costumes and large-scale celebrations that attract both local revelers and international visitors.
The JTB is using the London event to encourage travelers to experience the festival in Jamaica itself, with travel industry professionals also participating in this year’s Carnival in Jamaica activities.

The return also builds on the momentum of last year’s inaugural JTB and Magical Mas collaboration. With the 2026 Notting Hill Carnival marking six decades, organizers are positioning this year’s appearance as a larger celebration of Caribbean heritage and culture.
