Kaya Bliss is expanding its presence across Brooklyn, with two new dispensary locations planned for Kensington and Brighton Beach as the cannabis retailer continues building a neighborhood-focused brand around premium products, education and hospitality.
The Brooklyn-based company, which launched in 2025, currently operates locations in Bay Ridge and Brooklyn Heights. Its upcoming stores at 205 Church Ave. in Kensington and 301 Brighton Beach Ave. will extend the company’s reach into additional South Brooklyn communities. Kaya Bliss lists both locations as coming soon on its website.
The expansion reflects Kaya Bliss’ approach to cannabis retail, which emphasizes creating an environment where customers can feel comfortable asking questions and learning about products. Rather than treating the dispensary as a traditional retail counter, the company describes its stores as elevated, welcoming spaces designed around customer service and education.
“We started Kaya Bliss with a simple goal: take the intimidation out of cannabis shopping and replace it with real expertise and genuine hospitality,” said Edgar Kleydman, CEO of Kaya Bliss. “As we expand into more Brooklyn neighborhoods, that mission stays the same — we just get to share it with more of our neighbors.”
Kaya Bliss offers a broad selection of adult-use cannabis products, including flower, pre-rolls, edibles, vapes, concentrates, tinctures and topicals. Its stores also emphasize knowledgeable budtenders who can help customers navigate the available products and understand the differences among various options.
The retailer’s existing Bay Ridge location is at 8412 3rd Ave., while the Brooklyn Heights store is located at 64 Henry St. Both currently offer in-store shopping and delivery, according to the company.
The new Kensington location at 205 Church Ave. is also drawing attention as the neighborhood prepares for another licensed adult-use cannabis storefront. Local reporting identified Kaya Bliss as the dispensary planned for the location.
Meanwhile, the Brighton Beach location at 301 Brighton Beach Ave. is also listed by Kaya Bliss as coming soon.
Kleydman said his personal experience with cannabis helped motivate him to launch the company.
“Cannabis has greatly enhanced my life for many years, which is why I opened Kaya Bliss in 2025,” he said. “I strongly believe in the benefits of the plant for all walks of life and hope to make cannabis more accessible to those who need it most.”
Kaya Bliss’ growth comes as New York’s regulated cannabis market continues to develop, with licensed dispensaries bringing legal adult-use cannabis into more neighborhoods across the state.
For Kaya Bliss, the expansion is about more than adding storefronts. The company is positioning itself as a community-oriented cannabis retailer that combines product selection with education, wellness and a more polished shopping experience as Brooklyn’s legal cannabis landscape continues to evolve.
