Fans of Love Island USA got a taste of Fiji without leaving New York City as Peacock’s three-day Love Island USA: The Villa at 30 Rock pop-up experience brought the world of the hit dating series to Rockefeller Center.
On the third day of the immersive event, Season 8 star Beatriz Hatz made a surprise appearance, joining fans for photos and interactive experiences inspired by the show’s iconic villa. Hatz also visited the Top of the Rock for additional photo opportunities.
The event also welcomed Next Gen NYC stars Rowan Henchy and Brooks Marks, giving attendees additional celebrity encounters during the Peacock experience.
Designed to transport fans into the world of Love Island USA, the pop-up featured several interactive installations and activities. Among them was the Fire Pit, where visitors could try their luck at a Villa-themed claw machine stocked with CeraVe products. Fans also received complimentary full-size Blemish Barrier patches.
The Glam Room offered another beauty-focused experience, with personalized shade matching from Maybelline. Visitors could leave with beauty products inspired by the Islanders and their looks on the series.
Fans could also create customized bag charms featuring Love Island-inspired phrases, including “Bombshell” and “Coupled Up.” Additional photo opportunities included a Bombshell walk-in moment and a customizable sticker station designed to give visitors shareable souvenirs from the experience.
The New York activation reflects the growing popularity of Love Island USA, which has developed a strong fan culture around the Islanders, their relationships and the show’s constantly changing twists.
The series follows a group of singles living together in a tropical villa in Fiji as they search for romantic connections. Islanders must couple up while navigating challenges, eliminations and unexpected developments throughout the season.
Season 8 continues to air new episodes on Peacock every day except Wednesday, with episodes premiering at 9 p.m. ET and 6 p.m. PT.
For fans who attended the Rockefeller Center experience, the pop-up offered an opportunity to step into the show’s world through a combination of beauty, fashion, games and photo experiences. The surprise appearance by Hatz added another layer of excitement, allowing fans to meet one of the current season’s stars in person.
The event also demonstrates how streaming platforms are increasingly using immersive, in-person experiences to extend popular television franchises beyond the screen. By recreating elements of the Love Island environment in one of New York’s busiest destinations, Peacock gave fans a physical space to celebrate the series while creating social media-ready moments.
With Season 8 continuing on Peacock, the New York activation provided fans with a chance to bring the Love Island USA experience into their own city—at least for a few days.
