NAŌ, the contemporary Mediterranean lifestyle concept created by Groupe Annie Famose, is expanding its international footprint this summer with the opening of NAŌ Sardegna on the Italian island of Tavolara.
The new destination marks another step in the evolution of a brand already established in Saint-Tropez and Saint-Barthélemy. Developed in partnership with Brazilian hospitality group Fasano, NAŌ Sardegna brings together gastronomy, seaside living and Mediterranean hospitality in one of Sardinia’s most distinctive natural settings.
Located on Tavolara, an island known for its dramatic landscapes and relatively preserved environment, the new venue is designed to offer an experience that goes beyond traditional dining. The concept combines food, setting and lifestyle, reflecting NAŌ’s approach to creating destinations that appeal to an international and design-conscious clientele.
The Sardinian opening also expands NAŌ’s presence beyond France and the Caribbean, adding Italy to a growing collection of destinations associated with the brand.
At the same time, NAŌ is returning to the Port of Saint-Tropez for summer 2026 with a renewed identity and an elevated positioning. The return reinforces the brand’s connection to Saint-Tropez, one of the Mediterranean’s best-known summer destinations and a longtime center of luxury travel, dining and nightlife.
The simultaneous expansion into Sardinia and refreshed Saint-Tropez presence reflect a broader strategy for Groupe Annie Famose, which has built a hospitality portfolio around prominent seasonal destinations.
NAŌ’s development also illustrates the increasing overlap between restaurants, hotels, beach clubs and lifestyle brands. Rather than operating solely as individual venues, contemporary hospitality concepts are increasingly creating recognizable identities that travelers can encounter across multiple destinations.
For NAŌ, that identity is rooted in a modern interpretation of Mediterranean living, with gastronomy and the coastal environment playing central roles.
The partnership with Fasano adds another international hospitality perspective to the Sardinian project. The Brazilian group is known for its luxury hospitality portfolio, while Groupe Annie Famose brings experience in creating lifestyle destinations in sought-after resort locations.
Tavolara provides a particularly distinctive backdrop for the new venture. The island sits off Sardinia’s northeastern coast and is recognized for its rugged terrain and clear Mediterranean waters, making it a natural setting for a concept centered on seaside living.
With NAŌ Sardegna joining its existing destinations in Saint-Tropez and Saint-Barthélemy, the brand is positioning itself as a traveling Mediterranean lifestyle experience rather than a single-location concept.
Summer 2026 therefore represents a significant moment for NAŌ as it moves into a new market while renewing its presence in one of its original destinations. From the French Riviera to the Caribbean and now Sardinia, the brand is building a collection of hospitality experiences aimed at travelers seeking food, design, scenery and a distinctly contemporary take on Mediterranean summer culture.
