MacLeod & Co. has completed a 22,000-square-foot industrial warehouse lease near Miami International Airport, securing a South Florida logistics hub for a division of one of the world’s largest cross-border e-commerce and international air cargo companies.

The June 25 transaction places the logistics operator immediately adjacent to Miami International Airport, one of the Western Hemisphere’s major international air cargo gateways. The location provides the company with access to critical transportation routes connecting the United States with Latin America, the Caribbean and international markets.

The company, which moves hundreds of millions of packages each year across Asia, North America and Latin America, selected the facility to support and anchor its U.S. logistics operations.

The deal reflects continued demand for strategically located industrial space in South Florida, particularly properties positioned near major airports and transportation infrastructure. For global logistics companies, proximity to air cargo facilities can be critical to managing high-volume international shipments and maintaining efficient delivery networks.

“Securing this facility for a logistics operator of this scale is a significant milestone for South Florida’s industrial sector,” said Chase MacLeod, founder and CEO of MacLeod & Co. “Our team identified and secured the right asset near the airport to meet the operational demands of a world-class global company moving freight at an extraordinary volume.”

The transaction adds to MacLeod & Co.’s expanding portfolio of industrial real estate deals involving global occupiers. The brokerage operates across Southern California, Texas and Florida, where it represents tenants, investors and property owners in commercial real estate transactions.

Founded by MacLeod in 2021, the firm specializes in tenant representation, investment sales, agency leasing and buyer representation. The company says it has completed more than $850 million in transactions, working with C-suite executives, institutional investors and global logistics companies.

The Miami deal comes as industrial real estate continues to play an important role in South Florida’s economy. The region’s geographic position, international airport infrastructure and connections to Latin American markets have made it an important distribution and logistics center.

Miami International Airport serves as a major gateway for international cargo, making nearby industrial properties particularly attractive to companies whose operations depend on rapid movement of goods by air.

For MacLeod & Co., the transaction further establishes its presence in the Florida industrial market while highlighting the importance of specialized brokerage services for large-scale logistics operations.

The company says its approach focuses on strategic deal-making and negotiations involving complex transactions, with the Miami warehouse lease adding another major global occupier to its growing list of clients.
