We Create Music TV is building a growing independent music media network focused on helping artists and other music professionals navigate the business, develop their skills and find opportunities to advance their careers.
Founded by music industry professional, producer, media creator and educator B. Vaughan, the Atlanta-based platform has spent seven years serving artists, songwriters, producers, managers, engineers and music entrepreneurs through original programming, educational resources and industry conversations.
The network has produced more than 1,300 videos, including 160 exclusive interviews and podcasts. Its YouTube community has grown to more than 20,000 subscribers, while its newsletter reaches more than 750 subscribers. The platform also offers five original series covering different aspects of the music business and creative process.
We Create Music TV operates around three central pillars: Media, Education and Opportunity. The approach is designed to provide independent creators with more than exposure, combining industry insights and practical learning with platforms for building relationships and increasing visibility.
“We Create Music TV was built to serve the real needs of independent music creators,” Vaughan said. “The goal is not simply to create content, but to provide meaningful media, practical education and access to opportunities that can help creators build sustainable careers.”
Its flagship series, The Indie Unplugged, features interviews and podcasts with music professionals discussing their experiences and perspectives. Other programs include Sync Masters, which focuses on sync licensing; Unlocking Genius, which explores the creative process behind music; and Rhythm & Roots, which highlights the backgrounds and influences of music creatives.
The network also produces The Conversation, a live panel series addressing issues affecting independent creators. Together, the programs offer audiences insights into the artistic, business and professional dimensions of working in music.
Among the industry figures featured on the platform are Ray Daniels, Wendy Day, MAJOR., Amadeus, Serona Elton, Sound Oracle, Matt B., Tami Latrell, Teddy Richards and Mark Byrd.
Beyond its media programming, We Create Music TV provides masterclasses, workshops, production content, articles and music career resources intended to help creators apply what they learn to their professional development. Its opportunity-focused initiatives aim to connect artists and other professionals with audiences and potential collaborators.
Vaughan brings experience across music production, industry leadership and education to the network. An independent music producer and Recording Academy Professional Member, he serves on the Atlanta board of MMF-US and previously served on the AIMP Atlanta board. He also has more than 26 years of experience in leadership, training and organizational development.
As independent artists continue to navigate an evolving music business, We Create Music TV is positioning itself as a resource for information, education and professional connection.
The network’s mission is to educate, inform and empower independent music creators while helping them build the knowledge and relationships needed to pursue sustainable careers.
