Cyrus is the founder and CEO of Purpose Builder & Developments, a Christian-based design-build firm specializing in modern multifamily and single-family luxury homes. His journey began in 2016 when he started purchasing land in Dallas’ Fair Park neighborhood. By 2019, he was constructing 10 homes annually, priced between $250,000 and $350,000, before shifting his focus to the luxury market as home prices doubled during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pivot was transformative. Cyrus became the first Black developer in South Dallas to build homes valued at over $500,000, expanding the area’s luxury real estate market and opening doors for other Black builders to follow. Today, his company builds custom homes priced between $1.5 million and $3 million, with six projects underway, including three homes expected to sell for over $2 million.

Cyrus attributes his success to his unwavering faith, explaining, “A good idea isn’t a God idea, but every God idea is a good idea.” His upcoming launch of the Cyrus Collection, a high-end home brand, is expected to further elevate his business, with projected revenues of $35 million to $40 million within five years.

Drawing from his grandfather’s work ethic and his own expertise in financial services, Cyrus is not just building homes—he’s building generational wealth and inspiring the next wave of Black developers to dream big and aim higher.
