Food lovers planning a Mediterranean getaway this summer will have the opportunity to enjoy some of London’s most celebrated cuisine without ever leaving Greece.
The Ixian Grand & All Suites, a five-star, adults-only beachfront resort on the west coast of Rhodes, has unveiled an exclusive Summer Culinary Series featuring four acclaimed UK chefs. Running from July through September, the residency builds on the success of the resort’s sold-out KYMA dining program and offers guests a chance to experience one-night-only menus inspired by some of Britain’s most exciting culinary talent.
The series begins on July 15 with Elliott Grover, executive chef of CUT at 45 Park Lane in London. Grover has earned a reputation for his refined, ingredient-driven approach after working in prestigious kitchens including Le Caprice, Scott’s, and Duck & Waffle. His career has also taken him to Hollywood, where he cooked alongside legendary chef Wolfgang Puck at the Academy Awards.
For his Rhodes debut, Grover has created a menu that blends modern British flavors with Mediterranean influences. Diners will begin with elegant canapés, including Jersey Royal potatoes with crème fraîche and caviar, tomato toast with olive tapenade, and hand-cut beef tartare with basil pesto. The meal continues with chilled tomato and watermelon gazpacho featuring crab and mint oil, followed by fillet of beef served with caponata, smoked tomato dressing, and olive oil potato purée. Dessert offers a classic British finish with Eton Mess made with strawberries and vanilla ice cream.
The culinary series continues throughout the summer with an impressive lineup of guest chefs. Television personality and Saturday Kitchen host Matt Tebbutt will take over the kitchen on Aug. 23, bringing his approachable modern British cooking style. On Sept. 9, Executive Chef Daniel Watkins of Holy Carrot and co-founder of ACME Fire Cult will showcase his innovative plant-based cuisine and open-fire cooking techniques. The series concludes on Sept. 23 with two-Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi of Brooklands at The Peninsula London, whose menus combine classical French technique with Britain’s finest seasonal ingredients.
According to General Hotel Manager Michalis Papadopoulos, the guest chef program has become one of the resort’s signature experiences.
“Last year’s chef series was a huge success with our guests,” he said. “Bringing over four of the UK’s most exciting culinary names is a fantastic way to give our guests a real taste of home with a Rhodes twist.”
Set against the backdrop of the sparkling Aegean Sea, the Summer Culinary Series offers travelers more than fine dining—it delivers a memorable fusion of luxury hospitality, coastal scenery, and world-class gastronomy. For visitors seeking a vacation that combines relaxation with exceptional cuisine, The Ixian Grand & All Suites is turning Rhodes into one of Europe’s most enticing culinary destinations this season.
