Elite Island Resorts is taking a fresh approach to destination marketing by putting Antigua’s people, culture, and creative talent at the heart of its latest tourism campaign.

The Caribbean hospitality company has expanded its “A Love Letter to Antigua” initiative with the release of a cinematic short film and a new music video featuring internationally acclaimed reggae artist Causion, Antigua and Barbuda’s Reggae Ambassador. Together, the projects aim to tell the island’s story through authentic local voices while encouraging travelers to experience Antigua beyond its world-famous beaches.

Unlike traditional tourism campaigns that focus primarily on luxury resorts and scenic coastlines, “A Love Letter to Antigua” highlights the island’s rich heritage, vibrant communities, and cultural identity. The newly released destination film takes viewers on a visual journey across Antigua, showcasing landmarks such as Devil’s Bridge and Nelson’s Dockyard alongside local neighborhoods, waterfront dining, sailing excursions, and everyday island life.

“Our goal is to tell authentic stories that inspire travelers to connect with Antigua on a deeper level,” said Kari Tarnowski, Chief Commercial Officer at Elite Island Resorts. “We’re proud to work alongside talented artists like Causion while continuing to celebrate the island we have proudly called home.”

The campaign’s expansion also includes the debut of Causion’s latest music video, Feels Like I’m Dreaming, filmed at The Verandah Antigua. The video pairs the artist’s signature reggae sound with sweeping views of Antigua’s coastline, tropical landscapes, and crystal-clear waters.

Widely recognized as Antigua’s Reggae Ambassador, Causion has spent more than 30 years promoting his homeland through music. In 2024, he received the Commander of the Most Precious Order of Princely Heritage, one of Antigua and Barbuda’s highest national honors, recognizing his contributions to music, culture, and community service.

“Everything I create comes from a deep love for Antigua and a desire to share our culture with the world,” Causion said. “Together we’re telling authentic stories while creating opportunities to showcase the incredible talent and creativity that exists here.”

To coincide with the campaign expansion, Elite Island Resorts has launched its “Fall in Love With Antigua” Summer Flash Sale. Guests booking by July 31 can receive a fifth night free at Pineapple Beach Club Antigua, The Verandah Antigua, and St. James’s Club & Villas. Additional savings of $250 are available on select bookings made by July 11, including stays at Hammock Cove Antigua.

Originally introduced earlier this year, “A Love Letter to Antigua” combines creator-curated itineraries, interactive travel guides, cinematic storytelling, and immersive digital content to encourage visitors to experience the island’s culture as much as its natural beauty.

As travelers increasingly seek meaningful, authentic experiences, Elite Island Resorts’ latest campaign demonstrates how film, music, and local storytelling can become powerful tools for celebrating Caribbean identity while inspiring visitors to discover the people and traditions that make Antigua truly unforgettable.
