As international soccer takes over summer conversations, Highball at Tempo by Hilton Times Square is giving fans a way to experience the tournament through food, drinks and the cultures represented on the field.
Located above the energy of Times Square, Highball is celebrating the 48 participating national teams with a global beer program featuring selections from competing countries on their respective match days. The program is designed to let fans travel the world without leaving Manhattan, pairing international beverages with live tournament viewing.
The rotating selection includes beers such as German lager, Australian Cooper Pale Ale and Belgian ale. For fans looking for a non-alcoholic option, the program also features Qatar-inspired Limonana. Cocktails inspired by participating countries will also be available.
All featured international beers and cocktails are priced at $10, giving visitors an opportunity to sample different flavors throughout the tournament while supporting their favorite teams.
Highball is also rolling out a dedicated game-day food menu built around classic bar favorites with globally influenced flavors. Options include Salt & Vinegar Chips with housemade onion dip for $13 and Red Card Fries, served with a sweet-heat spice blend and chipotle aioli, for $13.
The menu continues with Loaded Nachos for $19, topped with queso, black beans, pico de gallo, jalapeños, sour cream and guacamole. Beef Empanadas, served three to an order with aji verde sauce, are available for $21.
For a more substantial meal, fans can order Beef Birria Tacos for $26. The tacos come with queso fresco, onion, cilantro and guajillo consommé.
The viewing experience is designed to capture the excitement of tournament season while offering an alternative to the packed streets surrounding Times Square. Highball features oversized screens and dedicated viewing hours throughout the games, giving fans a place to follow the action while enjoying food and drinks.
The location also puts visitors in the middle of one of New York City’s most recognizable gathering places. Times Square has long served as a natural meeting point for major sporting celebrations, making it a fitting setting for international soccer fans from across New York and beyond.
With its combination of international beverages, game-day food and large-screen viewing, Highball is turning the tournament into a cultural and culinary experience. Fans can follow their teams, sample flavors from around the world and take part in the excitement of international soccer without having to leave the heart of Manhattan.
