Children’s Theatre Company Announces Inaugural Acting Cohort for 2025-2026 Season

The Children’s Theatre Company (CTC) has announced the launch of its inaugural Acting Cohort, an exciting new initiative designed to nurture Twin Cities-based early career actors. For the 2025-2026 season, eight emerging performers will join CTC, each appearing in one season production while also engaging with student actors and participating in professional development opportunities.

“At Children’s Theatre Company, we believe in meeting the moment—and right now, the Twin Cities is home to a vibrant, thriving community of early-career actors,” said CTC Artistic Director Rick Dildine. “That’s why we’ve reimagined our traditional Performing Apprentice program and launched a new Acting Cohort model. This shift allows us to focus our resources on nurturing local talent, offering meaningful performance opportunities, and investing in the artists who are shaping the future of our theater community. We’re excited to welcome eight incredible Twin Cities-based actors into this inaugural cohort and to support their artistic journeys in the place they call home.”

The 2025-2026 Acting Cohort includes:

  • Julia Diaz – A returning CTC performer with credits at the Guthrie, MN Opera, and Theater Latté Da.
  • Ben Glisczinski – A Duluth native recently seen in The Music Man at Lyric Arts.
  • Zachary David Hodgkins – A CTC alum making his adult debut, with prior work at the Guthrie and Minnesota Opera.
  • Theo Janke-Furman – A Saint Paul native and Northwestern graduate recently featured in Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella.
  • Logan Lang – With experience at Walking Shadow Theatre Company, Park Square Theatre, and Frosted Glass Creative.
  • Ebony Ramquist – A GreenRoom Fellow and Guthrie Actors Lab member, known for her work in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui.
  • Anna Schloerb – Returning to CTC with local credits at Ten Thousand Things Theater and Open Eye Figure Theater.
  • Bella West – Making her CTC debut following performances with the Guthrie and Collide Theatrical Dance Company.

With this initiative, CTC reinforces its commitment to fostering local talent while offering audiences fresh perspectives on stage. The 2025-2026 season promises dynamic performances, meaningful mentorship, and a deeper connection between Twin Cities artists and theatergoers.
