Prospect Park Alliance Welcomes Hibiscus Brew with New Mobile Cart at Bartel Pritchard Entrance

Prospect Park Alliance, the nonprofit organization dedicated to maintaining and enriching Brooklyn’s iconic green space, has announced a flavorful addition to the park’s food landscape: Hibiscus Brew, a Brooklyn-based cafe, has launched a mobile food and beverage cart at the Bartel Pritchard Entrance. Dubbed “The Bloom,” the cart offers visitors an array of island-inspired drinks, smoothies, coffees, teas, pastries, and grab-and-go bites. Currently operating during select hours through September, the cart will officially open year-round starting October 1, serving guests daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hibiscus Brew’s menu reflects its Jamaican roots and wellness-forward approach, with items crafted in Brooklyn using fresh, vibrant ingredients. Whether park-goers are seeking a post-run smoothie, a refreshing sorrel drink, or a tropical juice for a leisurely walk, the cart offers a convenient and nourishing stop in Brooklyn’s Backyard.

The introduction of Hibiscus Brew complements the park’s growing roster of food options curated by Prospect Park Alliance, which already features vendors such as Poetica Coffee, Purslane Cafe, Winner in the Park, King David Tacos, Lark by the Park, and Smorgasburg.
